After a very long wait, Safari.Ltd, one of the biggest nature replica companies in the world, has finally announced their new figures to be released in 2013! New Dinosaurs that have never before been constructed into replicas will hit stores in 2013, and collectors cannot wait to have these lovely pieces in their collections. And without further ado, here are the new figures for 2013!

And the first new Dinosaur for 2013 is the recently discovered Diabloceratops! Meaning 'Devil Horn Face', it is most famously known for the two horns jutting out of the top of its frill, giving it its name. The figure will be 14cm long and 8cm high.

And next is a large headed Pterosaur Dimorphodon! It will be 13cm long (including tail), and a wingspan of an excess of 20cm.

Next for the lineup of 2013's is a new, more robust and swan-necked Brachiosaurus! The fate to the Brachiosaurus released in 2010 is unknown. It will be 30cm long and 35cm tall.

And next is Gastornis, the Terror Bird made famous by the amazing BBC documentary Walking With Beasts. It will be 8cm long and 7cm tall.

Also for 2013 will be a new Cambrian Era toob! It will feature 8 different invertebrates from the Cambrian period.

Another new model is the North American Hadrosaur Gryposaurus! They haven't put the detail in adding the ridge on its back. It will be approximately 22cm long.

And last, but not least in the roundup for 2013 is the Elasmosaurus! The Plesiosaur with the longest neck will be 25cm long.

My Little Pony: The Park Update 1

On the wonderful computer game RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, I am creating a Theme Park dedicated to My Little Pony Weird combination, isn't it? There are 2 roller coasters and 2 thrill rides.

The over view of the park before I added Fluttershy's coaster. Visible are Rarity's Rush, a inverting steel roller coaster, the entrance building, the entrance courtyard, and Angel's Twist, a twister trill ride.

The entrance building is a castle themed off My Little Pony: Friendship is magic. With most of the roof a balcony, a candy tree orchard and a water tower on one of the corners. Produce off the Orchard is sold in the candy stall.

Angel's Twist is a twister thrill ride themed on Fluttershy's pet Rabbit, Angel.

Rarity's Rush is a Schwarzkopf manufactured steel roller coaster. It has 4 inversions, a vertical loop, a cut back, and 2 interlocking corkscrews.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay: Cheetah Hunt!

I was so stoopid to forget to add Cheetah Hunt, at Busch Gardens to my post, so here it is:

Cheetah Hunt is a steel launched roller coaster manufactured by Intamin. It opened in may last year, with a new cheetah exhibit. The ride has 3 unexpected launches, one at 56km/h, another at 97km/h, and the last at 72km/h. It only has one inversion, a heartline roll. The main element of the roller coaster is a figure-eight movement high above the pathway(shown in background of picture), shortly after is the main drop is a directional changing airtime hill, then the heartline roll. After exiting the inversion, the track experiences several short banked turns through a rock fixture, including several near-misses. Then the third launch occurs, afterwards the track makes its way back to the station with airtime hills and directional changing airtime hills.

Kingda Ka: Tallest Roller Coaster In The World

Kingda Ka, located at Six Flags: Great Adevnture, is the tallest roller coaster in the world. It 's tallest drop is 127m tall and the height of the roller coaster is 139m tall. It can also reach a top speed of 206km/h. It is a stratacoaster, featuring a hydraulic launch, an enormous top hat, and a camelback hill leading off to the brakes and back to the station. The only other stratacoaster is Top Thrill Dragster, at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio. It occasionally has rollbacks. A rollback is when the train isn't accelerated fast enough to make it to the top of the coaster, so it rolls back towards the station. The are brakes though so that if there is a rollback, it will return safely to the station, giving the riders another ride.

Theme Park Time: Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens is an African based Theme Park in Florida, North America. It has a total of 24 rides including 8 roller coaster and 3 water rides. It opened in 1959 and still operates as a popular Theme Park being just an hour's drive from Orlando, Florida's capital.

The park has 10 sections, Morocco, Bird Gardens, Sesame Street of Fun, Stanleyville, Congo, Jungala, Timbuktu, Nairobi, Crown Colony Plaza, and Egypt. Here are the roller coasters:

Gwazi
Gwazi is a wooden dueling coaster. The two trains on each track are the Lion and the Tiger. Both trains can reach speed of 81km/h on the roller coaster and both have a drop of 32m. It opened in 1999, a few months after Florida's only other dueling roller coaster Dueling Dragons, at Universal's Islands Of Adventure. Gwazi holds the record for most fly-bys on a dueling coaster, with six. A fly-by is when two roller coasters pass each other in opposite directions in high speeds, giving the illusion of crashing into the other roller coaster. In 2011, new trains were added to decrease the roughness of the ride.

Kumba
Kumba is a B 'n' M sit down roller coaster. It held the record for most inversions when it first opened, with seven. The opening of Dragon Khan surpassed the record, with 8 at PortAdventura in 1995. It was the first roller coaster to feature a dive loop, and interlocking corkscrews(shown in picture). It features a 35m high vertical loop wrapping around the station, a dive loop, a zero-g roll, a Cobra Roll, and 2 interlocking corkscrews. It can reach speeds of 97km/h and has a drop of 41m. The track was repainted in 2011.

Montu
Montu is an inverted roller coaster, which means instead of the the trains sitting on top of the track, they sit under the track. Montu is found in the Egypt section. When it opened in 1996, it was the fastest and tallest inverted coaster in the world, one year later, Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Williamsburg surpassed that record. It can reach speeds of 97km/h, has a drop of 46m, and has seven inversions including 2 vertical loops, an immelmann loop, a zero-g roll, a batwing element, and a corkscrew. It was also built by B 'n' M, after the success of Kumba.

SheiKra
SheiKra is a B 'n' M Dive Machine roller coaster in the Stanleyville section of the park. It was the first Dive Machine Roller Coaster in North America. The name derived from a Shikra, and Asian African Hawk that is known to dive straight down for its prey. It has a vertical drop, with another 81 degree drop. It only has one inversion, an immelmann loop. It was the first coaster with a true 90 degree drop, with other being close such as Oblivion at Alton Towers having 88 degree drop. The coaster also has a splashdown event, where water emits from the back of the train.

Other Roller Coasters
Busch Gardens also has 3 other roller coasters, Air Grover, a childrens roller coaster featured in the Sesme Street section, Sand Serpent, a steel wild mouse, and Scorpion, a Schwarzkopf produced looping roller coaster, with only 3 of it's kind left in the world.

New Roller Coasters in 2013!

Each year, Theme parks around the world build new rides to please the crowd pleased. What used to be the  Theme Park Capital, with the title now taken by Six Flags: Magic Mountain, has revealed a new roller coaster for 2013: Gatekeeper! This record breaking coaster is a winged coaster, in which the seats are not on top of the track, they stick out from the side. With nothing above or under the guests, it leaves them most vulnerable. It will be the tallest and longest winged roller coaster, and will have the highest inversion in the world at a record-breaking 52m tall. With 6 inversions and reaching speeds of km/h, this will really please the guests. Unfortunately, 2 rides will be taken down in order for this new ride to be built, the indoor bobsled roller coaster Disaster Transport, and the Space Spiral.

Full Throttle
One of the most anticipated roller coaster of the year, Six Flags; Magic Mountain will open Full Throttle in 2013. This roller coaster will also break records, including the tallest vertical loop being 49m tall, the world's first backwards launch, and the world's first ever top hat, going over the loop. With 2 inversions and reaching speeds of 110km/h, this is will bring a new level of thrill to Theme Park rides.

Iron Rattler
And last highly anticipated roller coaster for 2013 is Iron Rattler, at Six Flags: Fiesta Texas. A hybrid coaster with steel railing and wooden supports, it will feature a one of a kind zero-g roll, one of the few wooden inversions on roller coasters. It wall also snake around the quarry wall and go through the quarry wall. It will reach speeds of 110km/h.
